Double Olympic bronze medallist Lalonde Gordon continued his sensational indoor form, scoring another victory at the Terrier Invitational in Boston, Massachusetts, USA on the weekend. Gordon sprinted to back to back 200m titles in a season best clocking of 20.60.

The time improved his 20.91 in his first indoor one lap event at the Albany Great Dane Indoor Classic in New York on January 19. Gordon missed his pb and meet record of 0.02, set in last year’s race.

His Zenith Velocity team-mate Grenadian Joel Redhead was second (21.07). Gordon then pushed Zenith Velocity’s 4x400m team to victory in 3:10.86. Emmanuel Stewart (Morgan State) was 14th in the men’s shot put with a first round throw of 14.85. His team-mate Jeanelle Ovid was ninth in the women’s high jump (1.65).

Gordon’s fellow Olympic 4x 400m bronze medallist Deon Lendore, Commonwealth Games silver medallist Ayanna Alexander, high jumper Deandra Daniel, hurdle Wayne Davis and quarter milers Dan-Neil Telesford and Chelsi Campbell all had wins.
